Gift Campaigns overview
Learn what a gift campaign is, how to read the campaign list, and what purchased, assigned, shipped, and remaining mean.
What a gift campaign is
A gift campaign is a batch of gifts purchased up front and sent over time. For example, your company might buy 100 year-end client gifts across a few product options. Account managers can then send those gifts to their own clients until the campaign inventory runs out or the campaign closes.
The campaign list
Gift Campaigns in the sidebar shows every campaign your organization can access. For each campaign, you will see:
- Name, type, and description: admins can edit the name and description inline.
- Status: whether the campaign is open for sending.
- Dates: when gifts were purchased and when the campaign closes.
- Gift counts: total purchased, assigned to recipients, shipped, and remaining.
Open a campaign to work inside it. See Sending gifts from a campaign.
How gift counts work
Campaign gifts work like credits. Purchased is the total number of gifts in the campaign pool. Each gift submitted for a recipient becomes assigned. A gift counts as shipped once it is on its way. Remaining is the number still available to send. When a campaign includes multiple gift products, all products draw from the same campaign pool.
Rules and limits
- A campaign must be open before gifts can be sent from it. Once the campaign closes, or once the gift inventory is depleted, gift shipments are no longer available.
- Your admin may limit how many gifts you can send or how much you can spend through allocations.
- Some campaigns require a passcode to send. The campaign page shows a Passcodes tab when passcodes are required.
